Report from Mark Fraser
Two farm workers shooting on land outside Kilmarnock, (the witnesses who are farmers do not want the location made public), saw two animals that they have no doubt were pumas. 7 to 8 feet long including the tail, sandy coloured with pointed ears that sat upright. The witnesses believe that it was a mother with her young. Also described as "very muscular and able to clear at least 20 yards in two bounds," they did not shoot the animals although they could have done so easily.
