Panther filmed at Patna
Ayrshire, 3 rd October 1997
3rd October 1996, Patna. Mrs W, doing her housework, noticed a large black animal while looking out of her bedroom window. It somehow, "did not look quite right," to her. In fact it put her in mind of a large exotic cat! She took a couple of looks then decided to film the animal. The footage is apprx 29 seconds long, blurred and out of focus, she then continued with what she was doing - dusting! On looking back the animal had gone. She never saw it arrive or leave, the animal moved only once during filming and that was to turn its head towards, then away from Mrs W and her bungalow. She describes it as being, "black, with a large head and a kind of square, maybe snub sort of face.."
