Dark Cat-like animal seen near Alexandria

A man out on his own says he saw an animal as big as a Labrador dog, but definitely cat-like.
This was on a track in woods near Alexandria, Loch Lomond.
The caller did not leave any personal details and in fact never returned his promised follow up call, so this is all the info I have.
"The animal was dark in colour with a cat-like neck and head & long tail,"
The witness noticed the tail as it shot off into the woods.
"Its eyes were sort of amber in colour, it moved like a cat, stealthily, very agile, not like a dog at all."
