Black cat seen near Busby
Mid August 1996
Jimmy C., Kilmarnock.
Drives for a living on nights, he has only ever seen once what he thought may be a big cat.
It was dark and he was heading towards Busby from East Kilbride nearing the area of the Philips Hill cemetery.
He caught sight of a darkish cat-like animal running away from his vehicle, he only saw it briefly.
Jimmy also mentions that around Kilmarnock/Newmoor Roundabout/Beechams there are several families of foxes which he feels may account for some of the Ayrshire sightings.
