Big cat seen near Cumnock
Late December 1995
First night of installation the sensors activated in the early hours of the morning which set in motion the above systems. On watching the video tape the next day the lady of the house first saw when the floodlights activated sheep in the adjoining field in a "kind of panic" then a large "brown cat" came into view, sauntering by the fence, which the witnesses used as scale only to say it was as big as a fully grown Labrador.
The engineers viewed this tape and are adamant that what was on the tape was a large cat. where is the footage now? It was taped over on the same day by the witnesses daughter! I have the name and addresses of witnesses and will make contact with them shortly.
