Big cat on Dundonald Road
September 1994
A female witness saw a black cat-like animal in the grounds of Mount House in Kilmarnock along the Dundonald Road.
It was a dark morning but she could see the animal quite clearly.
She describes it as being the size of an alsation with a very long tail.
The same year her husband who is a lorry driver nearly ran over a similar animal while in Kirkcudbrightshire.
