Large black cat spotted by three youths
Summary from the Forres Gazette, 10 th April 1985
Three youths, Scott Angus, Gary Porter and Andrew Duguid, sight a black cat at railway line, nr. Sanquhar Mains Farm.
Walking along disused railway, they spot a black 'log' in distance.
The log suddenly springs to life, gets up on 4 legs, turns a felid head towards them.
Allegedly carries a ?dead rabbit in its mouth.
Startled, one youth starts throwing stones at the creature, it slopes off into the thicket aside the railway line.
