Large black cat seen at Balloch
June 1985
In the witnesses own words.
We were at Highland games in Balloch where my daughter was dancing.
Afterwards we went to a picnic near the old Bear Park.
We managed to get in through the mesh and found various bones, skulls etc.
My husband saw a huge black cat near-by and he was very shocked, he said it was about the size of a tiger.
We never saw it but were very cautious and got back out into the busier area.
