Big cat seen at Shortlees
Winter 1984
3 am. a taxi driver approaching Shortlees in Kilmarnock from Gateshead saw a large black cat-like animal, with green eyes, being about 7 to 8 ft in length including the tail.
The sighting was reported to the police.
