|Puma. Colour and size of lioness, with a long tail
|Prowling about on the hillside for 5 minutes.
|Garvald Mains Farm nr Gifford, East Lothian
|Twenty inches high with a long body and a tail measuring about three feet. Dark grey in colour with a dark sheen along its back. Large rounded ears lay back on its head and its jaw constantly opened and closed
|Stalking sheep in a field. Seen at less than 40 ft. Failed police search.
|Nunraw Abbey, nr Gifford, East Lothian
|Seen running across a field by a monk. Sheep killed at weekend
