Big cat sighting in Edinburgh area

1981, Edinburgh area.
I spoke to Calderpark Zoo in the autumn of 1981. The big cats were still being reported and a spokesman told me that the situation was giving them so many headaches that it had been suggested that somebody should be officially appointed by the government to deal with all big-cat sightings in Scotland.
In 1981 they were receiving reports of yet another animal in the Edinburgh area.
