Sheep killed at Strathcarron

21 st January 1980, Strathcarron, Ross.
Some 25 miles to the west of the cannich area, other unknown animals have been reported. On 21 January 1980 part of a sheep carcass was found about 200 yd from an isolated house at Strathcarron. The occupiers stated that their dogs had been disturbed and had been barking for the previous three nights.
