Paw prints found at South Clunes

16 th January 1980, South Clunes, nr Inverness, Inverness-shire
The new year, 1980, immediately brought further reports. On 16 January a retired gamekeeper reported finding unusual footprints in the snow at South Clunes, just west of Inverness. They measured 7 in long by 4 in wide and were like nothing he'd ever seen before.
