Lioness-like cat seen at Drumnadrochit

4 th December 1980, Drumnadrochit, Inverness-shire
The next sighting in the area was on 4 December, when a motorist driving a car near Drumnadrochit reported what she described as a lioness. It was about 4 ft long with large paws, a fawn coat and a long cat-like tail. The area where the sighting had occurred was examined and an indistinct cat-like spoor was found in the roadside grit. It showed four pads and measured 4 in across.
