Report from Chris Smith
19 th October 1980, Between Inverarnie and Daviot, Inverness-shire.
At about 6.20 pm on 19 October, an Inverness woman motorist was travelling from Inverarnie to Daviot when she saw a large cat-like animal by the roadside. It was a fairly bright night and visibility was excellent. She described it as slightly taller and longer than an adult Labrador dog, but slightly slimmer in build. It was yellow-fawn all over, the head was round with a short face and the tail was much longer in proportion to its body than that of a dog of the same size. It moved very gracefully, like a cat.
