Lioness-like animal seen at Maryburgh

6 th November 1979, Maryburgh, Ross-shire
Two days later, in the evening of 6 November, four men in a car saw a lioness in the headlights. The sighting was near Maryburgh, 2 miles from Dingwall. A crofter reported a sheep carcass that appeared to have been eaten.
