Two sightings of black cat

"I was working on a farm harvesting turnips one morning between 11-12 o'clock. I saw a big black animal lying beside the fence. Before we went home for dinner I went to investigate. I was 20 yards from it, it was lying in the sun, it was black and had a round cat's face, body about four feet long, and a long thin black tail. Its back slightly dipped, small ears. (It was a lovely summer's day.) It was a puma.
A few days later a lady saw it cross the road in front of her car about 10pm at night.
