Lynx shot in Kintyre
1980s
A lynx was shot about 20 years ago on an estate in Kintyre. The incident was never reported and the body disposed of because they did not want a lot of publicity etc.
The only reason I found out about it was when I was following up the recent mass killing (alleged) around the same area. The chap I spoke to told me about the lynx as he had got to hear about it at the time through his father who worked on the estate. I asked what they did with the body but he didn't know.
